As with any other Clarks shoe I've ever owned, these were really comfortable right away and needed no break-in. I was able to spend an entire day walking in them on the first wearing. They look cute with jeans, capris or skirts. If you want a metallic shoe, but don't want shiny silver, these are a nicely understated metallic.
