This is the second time I have purchased these socks.My husband likes them--no bumpy seams in the toes, they stay up well, they're light-weight, even though they are made in two layers.The inside is white.I machine wash them and hang them up to dry, though they can be machine dried.One neat detail:these socks have the size eg. "LARGE" knitted rignt into the bottom of the sock, so if you are buying for two people of different size, it's easy to sort or re-order the correct size.
