Size reference: I wear a comfy yet somewhat tight-fitting 6 in Converse sneakers, a 5 in Hunter wellington boots, and a 6 in these UGG Upside boots.Color-wise: If you don't know what color you want yet, I suggest avoiding the black.When I see them on other people, they remind me of Santa Claus boots.However, the ones I purchased were mocha colored, which turned out to be so pretty and rich-looking.The other brown and grey ones look nice too.
Comfort: Like fluffy slippers.Fur is so soft and warm, I could fall asleep in them.
Some criticisms:
IMO, these Upside boots are actually somewhat cute, unlike the generic plain uggs, with the lacing on the side and the fur cuff.And they're just as comfortable as other UGG boots. But on the other hand, UGG boots are so common; everybody will recognize the brand, the price, and the exact name of the boot, which is annoying at times.
They also make you look shorter with a bulky hooves-like shape (which is what all the UGG boots do)
Mostly all UGG boots have a non-waterproof exterior: very easy to soil unfortunately and difficult to clean.They also don't have very good traction so they are slippery on ice.
Overall: cute, pricey, trendy, fashion-over-function/practicality boots for winter.
