I usually wear size 6-6/12 and I ordered these in a 6, hoping they wouldn't be too tight.They run at least a size larger - I have room for a thick pair of wool socks.I have thin calves, and finding fitted boots that don't gap too much is difficult.While there is a 1" gap even with the laces pulled tight, it's not as bad as most "less-expensive" boots.
The boots are slightly tapered through the ankle, but not enough to make them form-fitting.There is SOME taper, however, so they don't look as cloddish as others I have tried.
They seem sturdy and as if they will make it through the season with out incident.
3 stars - they aren't as poorly designed/constructed as other inexpensive boots, but they aren't as nice as more expensive brands.They are definitely cute and will serve their purpose.
IIRC, shipping seemed high.
